The first phase construction work of the Andana Regional Hospital in Rathnapura District, under the Health System Enhancement Project (HSEP) has been completed recently.
A meeting was held on 4th March 2020 to strengthen community engagement in Primary Health Care delivery, under the patronage of Deputy Project Director, Dr. Sisira Liyanage.
The acting Chief incomed of the Sri Lanka Amarapura chapter the most Venerable Balangoda Samitha Thero, Director, Primary Health Care System Strengthening Project (PSSP), Dr. Jayasundara Bandara and Chief Medical Officer Andana Regional Hospital, Dr. Lochana Chiranjana, many other doctors and representatives from 12 Grama Niladara Divisions of the area attended the event.
These two Primary Health Care Development Projects are operating Under the Primary Healthcare Reform Policy.
