Innovation related to establishment and implement of Shared Care Cluster System

Health System Enhancement Project has allocated 78 Million SLR (grant) for innovation related to the establishment of Shared Care Cluster System proposed by the recently approved Primary Health Care Policy.

Among the proposals submitted to apply for fund two proposal which are in accordance with the guidelines were approved.

Improve the efficiency of utilization of the fund a proposal writing workshop has been organized by the Project Implementation Unit – North Central Province. 

Following the workshop Public Health Staff has developed 12 proposals mentioned below.

  • Improvement of maternal and new born care at field level
  • Scale up of well women clinic services and gender-based violence prevention
  • Sexual and reproductive health education package
  • Learning Management System for Provincial Health Training Centre
  • Capacity building of treatment services for Ano – genital warts
  • Establishment of Regional Research Council
  • Patient Satisfaction Survey
  • Exploration of feasibility and outcomes of Primary care training program for medical officers
  • Insulin resistance in young and early middle-aged adults
  • Reduction of tobacco smoking in selected areas
  • Improve physical exercises among healthy life style clients and community
  • Development of referral and back referral system of HLC clients and medical clinic patients

The faculty of the training program included resource persons for the Academic and Experts of the field.
