කොවිඩ් - 19 වෛරස ආසාදිතයන් හඳූනාගැනීම සඳහා PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) පරීක්ෂණ රසායනාගාරයක්, සෞඛ්‍ය පද්ධති වැඩිදියුණු කිරීමේ ව්‍යාපෘතිය (Health System Enhancement Project) යටතේ නැගෙනහිර කොළඹ මුලික රෝහලේ ඉදිවෙමින් පවතී.

The Basic diagnostic test to identify COVID-19 infected patients is Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR test). In view of enhancing the diagnostic capacity of Sri Lanka, Asian Development (ADB) has extended assistance by establishing a new PCR lab at Colombo East Base Hospital through Health System Enhancement Project.

The first phase construction work of the Andana Regional Hospital in Rathnapura District, under the Health System Enhancement Project (HSEP) has been completed recently.

මෙරට ප්‍රාථමික සෞඛ්‍ය සේවාවන් ප්‍රතිසංවිධානය කිරීමේ ප්‍රතිපත්තිමය තීරණයට අනුව ආසියානු සංවර්ධන බැංකුවේ අරමුදල් වලින් ක්‍රියාත්මක වන සෞඛ්‍ය පද්ධති වැඩිදියුණු කිරීමේ ව්‍යාපෘතිය (HSEP) යටතේ රත්නපුර දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ ඇන්දාන ප්‍රාදේශීය රෝහලේ වැඩිදියුණු කිරීමේ පළමු අදියර නොබෝ දා අවසන් විය.

Cluster Implementation Plan Finalization Workshop was held on 8^th of October 2019 at Oak Ray Regency, Kandy. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Amal Harsha De Silva (Deputy Director General, Medical Services II MOHNIM), Dr. E.A. Fernando (Director, Planning MOHNIM) and Dr. Sisira Liyanage (Deputy Project Director, PMU HSEP).
